- Clostridium perfringens
- Enterobacter cloacae
- Enterococcus faecalis
- Enterococcus faecium
- Escherichia coli
- Klebsiella oxytoca
- KlebsiellaPneumoniae
- Parabacteroides distasonis
- Staphylococcus aureus
- Streptococcus anginosus
III. Contraindications
- Pregnancy and Children <8 years old
- Permanent Tooth Discoloration
- Enamel Hypoplasia
- Inhibited bone growth
IV. Mechanism

- Fluorocycline Antibiotic
V. Dosing: Adult
- Eravacycline 1 mg/kg every 12 hours
- Adjustments
- Strong Cytochrome P-450 3A3/4 Isoenzyme Inducers (see below)
- Severe Liver Disease
- Start with 1 mg/kg every 12 hours on day 1, then 1 mg/kg every 24 hours
VI. Drug Interactions
- Strong Cytochrome P-450 3A3/4 Isoenzyme Inducers (e.g. Rifampin)
- Decreased serum levels of Eravacycline
- Increase dose of Eravacycline to 1.5 mg/kg every 12 hours
VII. Adverse Effects
- Metabolic
- Azotemia (including increased BUN)
- Metabolic Acidosis
- Hyperphosphatemia
