III. Preparation
- Examiner holds patient's outstretched hands
- Patient stands fully weight bearing on the affected leg
- Opposite leg is flexed at the knee to 90 degrees so it remains off the floor for the test
- Position the affected leg

- Pain on maneuver suggests a meniscal tear

- More accurate than the McMurray Test
- Probability of injury if positive: 81% (Positive Likelihood Ratio 39.3)
- Probability of injury if negative: 1% (Negative Likelihood Ratio 0.09)
