III. Technique
- Patient lies supine with legs extended
- Clinician places one fist under patient's proximal calf
- Clinician places other hand over the top of the distal anterior thigh and applies downward pressure
IV. Interpretation
- Images
- Negative Test
- Patient's heel remains elevated off the bed
- Positive Test (for ACL Rupture)
- Patient's heel falls to rest against the bed surface
V. Efficacy
- Test Sensitivity: 83 to 100%
- Test Specificity: 80 to 100%
