- Evaluation of SLAP Lesion in Shoulder
III. Technique
- Patient places both hands on hips
- Examiner stabilizes affected ShoulderScapula and clavicle with one hand
- Examiner uses other hand to push anterior and superior at the elbow
- This forces the Shoulder upward and will reproduce symptoms if a Labral Tear exists
IV. Interpretation
- Positive Test suggests SLAP Lesion
- Reproduces pain or
- Click or pop localized to anterior Shoulder under examiner's hand at acromion
