III. Technique
- Step 1
- Elbow fully extended
- Palpate radial pulse
- Step 2
- Patient rotates their head/chin to the affected/tested side
- Neck fully extended
- Abduct arm to 30 degrees and fully extend arm back
- Step 3
- Patient takes a deep breath and holds it
- Palpate radial pulse
IV. Interpretation
- Positive test findings
- Decreased Radial Pulse with maneuver
- Distal extremity pain reproduced
- Positive test suggests interscalene compression
- Arterial Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

- Some False Positive tests
