II. Technique
- Diluted to 1-5 units/ml in sterile saline
- Inject with 0.5cc tuberculin syringe (#30 1/2 inch)
- Strictly limit application to wart
- Maximum dose
- Two units per treatment
- No more than 1 unit per individual wart
- May repeat after 2-3 weeks
III. Disadvantages
- Severe pain
- Hemorrhagic eschar
- Risk of scarring
- High cost ($300/vial)
IV. Precautions: Avoid acral lesions
- Risk of persistent digital vasospasm
- Risk of Raynaud's Syndrome
