II. Pathophysiology
- Separation of right and left rectus Muscles
- Fascia stretches with Obesity or pregnancy
- Not a true Abdominal Hernia
- No fascial defect
- No risk of Incarcerated Hernia or Strangulated Hernia
III. Signs
- Exam in supine position with head raised (increasing intraabdominal pressure)
- Diffuse, elongated midline bulge between the two contracted rectus Muscles
