II. Indications: Highly effective Contraception where pregnancy risk is too high
- Poorly controlled diabetes (increased risk of major Congenital Anomaly)
- Severe macrovascular and microvascular complications
III. Management

Oral Contraceptives with low-dose Estrogen and less androgenic Progestin
- Avoid in vascular disease or microvascular disease, or in Diabetes Mellitus >20 years
- Intrauterine Device (Copper-T IUD or Levonorgestrel IUD)
- Progestin-Only Pill (lower efficacy)
- Avoid Depo Provera
