  1. Drug Abuse Screening

III. Criteria: Question

  1. How many times in the past year have you
    1. Used an illegal drug or
    2. Used a prescription medication for a non-medical purpose (e.g. feeling that the medical caused)

IV. Interpretation

  1. Positive Screening answer of 1 time or greater
  2. Consider reflexing a positive answer to complete the Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAS-10)

V. Efficacy

  1. Test Sensitivity: 90-100%
  2. Test Specificity: 74%
