- Metatarsal-phalangeal joint (MTP) mild hyperextension
- Interphalangeal joint (ITP) flexion deformity
- Second toe involvement most common
- Especially with second toes longer than great toe
- Associated with Hallux Valgus deformity at great toe

- Mild flexible deformity
- StretchingExercises
- Over and Under taping to adjacent toes
- Toe cap or Crest pad (2 inch cotton dental roll)
- Position under second and third toes
- Gell-filled corn pad over interphalangeal joint
- Properly fitting shoes
- Resistant cases of fixed deformity
- Surgical correction
- Percutaneous flexor tenotomy
- Office procedure with small stab incision to the plantar surface (between MTP and PIP)
