II. General
- Do not use subcutaneous tissue
- Plan backwards (confirm graft will cover area)
III. Graft Types
- Full thickness graft for volar surface injuries
- Donor site: thigh or lateral buttock
- May become dark after 2-3 days
- Underlying tissue is still viable
- Partial (split) thickness graft for dorsal surface
- Donor site: flexor creases of wrist or elbow
- Amputated Finger Tip
- May be grafted if in good condition
- remove all adipose tissue if over age 5 years
