  1. Evaluation of Bulla (Blister)

III. Technique

  1. Lateral pressure applied to edge of bulla
  2. Positive test if bulla extends laterally with pressure
    1. Suggests Epidermis detaches from skin

IV. Causes: Positive test

  1. Pemphigus conditions (e.g. Pemphigus Vulgaris)
  2. Stevens-Johnson Syndrome
  3. Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
  4. Staphylococcus Scalded Skin Syndrome
