- Skin Phenotype 1
- Skin Phenotype 2
- White skin (fair) with red or blond hair; blue, hazel or green eyes
- Usually burns, but sometimes tans with difficulty
- Higher risk for Melanoma
- Skin Phenotype 3
- Creamy white skin, with any eye or hair color
- Sometimes mildly burns, but gradually tans
- Higher risk for Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra and Postinflammatory Hyperpigmentation
- Skin Phenotype 4
- Brown skin (mediterranean or caucasian)
- Rarely burns and always tans
- Higher risk for Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra and Postinflammatory Hyperpigmentation
- Skin Phenotype 5
- Dark brown skin or Mid-Eastern skin (moderately pigmented skin)
- Very rarely burns, and tans very easily
- Higher risk for Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra and Postinflammatory Hyperpigmentation
- Higher risk for Acne Keloidalis Nuchae, Keloids and pseuofolliculitis barbae
- Skin Phenotype 6
- Black to darkly pigmented skin
- Never burns, and tans very easily
- Higher risk for Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra and Postinflammatory Hyperpigmentation
- Higher risk for Acne Keloidalis Nuchae, Keloids and pseuofolliculitis barbae
