- Claudication Evaluation
III. Criteria (all positive required for PVD diagnosis)
- Leg Pain with walking
- Pain does not have onset while standing or sitting
- Pain occurs while walking fast or uphill
- Pain resolves within 10 minutes of standing still
IV. Modifiers
- Pain occur even at normal pace on level ground
- Suggests severe Claudication
- Pain location
- Classic: Calf pain
- Atypical: Thigh or buttock pain without calf pain

- Test Sensitivity: 91%
- Test Specificity: 99%
