II. Indications

  1. Asymptomatic patient
    1. Severe ischemia detected by EKG or nuclear testing
    2. Mild ischemia but high risk occupation
  2. Symptomatic patient
    1. Acute Myocardial Infarction (STEMI, NSTEMI)
    2. Unstable Angina
    3. Variant Angina (Prinzmetal's Angina)
    4. Inadequate response to medical management
    5. High risk determined by Exercise testing
    6. Contemplated High Risk Surgery
    7. Follow-up Cardiac Arrest
    8. Probable indications
      1. Age under 40 years
      2. Class III-IV Angina
      3. Progression of non-invasive tests
