Transverse Myelitis
- Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV) infection
- Spinal epidural or intradural Lymphoma
- Toxoplasma gondii infection
- Slowly progressive vacuolar Myelopathy
- Spinal cord dysfunction (more common in advanced HIV)
- Progressive painless gait disturbance with Ataxia
- Increased lower extremity motor tone and progressive weakness
- Erectile Dysfunction
- Consider MRI Spine
- HIV-Associated Polymyositis (Myopathy)
- Similar to autoimmune Polymyositis
- Progressive symmetric proximal Muscle Weakness
