- Characteristics- Deep cramping pain
- Pain severe enough to wake child from sleep
 
- Region- Often involves lower limbs (thigh, shin, calf)
- Bilateral
 
- Timing- Intermittent
- Night pain- Usually resolves completely by morning
 
 
- Provocative- Heavy Exercise during the day
 
- Palliative- Heat
- Massage
- Physiotherapy
