  1. Mechanical exfoliation of superficial skin layers using abrasives (e.g. diamond-tipped pads)

III. Indications (same indications as for Chemical Peels)

  1. Benign epidermal pigmentation
  2. Rough skin
  3. Acne
  4. Superficial acne scars

IV. Dosing

  1. Course of 6 treatments every 2-4 weeks with maintenance treatments every 1-3 months

  1. Results are temporary

  1. Safe for all skin types

  1. Telangiectasias may be exacerbated
