II. Risk Factors
- Predisposition to poor Corneal healing
- Map-dot-fingerprint dystrophy (basement membrane disorder)
- Sharp Corneal Abrasion
III. Management
- Keep eye moist to optimize healing
- Day: Preservative free artificial tears at least 4 times daily for 2 weeks
- Night: Refresh PM ointment or Lacri-lube
IV. Course
- Requires 2 weeks to fully heal
