III. Criteria
- Arterial Oxygen Partial Pressure < 60 mmHg (8.0 kPa)
- Age > 55 years
- White Blood Cell Count >15 x10^3/mm3
- Serum Calcium <8.0 mg/dl (2.0 mmol/L)
- Blood Urea Nitrogen 44 mg/dl (16 mmol/L)
- Blood Glucose >180 mg/dl (10 mmol/L)
- Serum Albumin <3.2 g/dl (32 g/L)
- Lactate Dehydrogenase > (600 IU/L)

- Pa02 decreased
- Age increased
- Neutrophilia
- Calcium decreased
- Renal Urea increased
- Enzymes (Lactate Dehydrogenase) increased
- Albumin low
- Sugar Glucose increased
V. Interpretation
- Severe Pancreatitis
- More than 3 criteria present within first 48 hours of presentation
