VI. Week 15 to 20

    2. Quickening in Nulliparous patients by 18 to 20 weeks
  2. Signs
    1. Fetal Heart Tones by Fetoscope by 16 to 20 weeks
    2. Irregular Contractions palpable by 20 weeks

VII. Findings: Other signs of pregnancy

  1. Chloasma (Mask of pregnancy)
    1. Dark under eyes, bridge nose
  2. Linea Nigra
    1. Dark midline low Abdomen
  3. Hegar Sign
    1. Softened low uterine segment on bimanual exam
  4. Chadwick Sign
    1. Darkened or erythematous vulva and vagina
  5. Goodell Sign
    1. Purple or blue discoloration of the Cervix
    2. Results from pelvic vessel congestion
