II. Indications: Immediate Evaluation

- Persistent Abdominal Pain longer than 2 hours
- Possible Intestinal Obstruction
- Possible Ileus or Appendicitis
- Abdominal or Head Trauma
- Suspected poison or Foreign Body Ingestion
- Ask parents to examine vomitus for pills or leaves
- Common ingestions
- House Plant
- Medication
- House cleaning chemical or cleanser
- Coins

Pediatric Dehydration
- Infant under age 1 year: Last Urine > 8 hours prior
- Child over age 1 year: Last Urine >12 hours prior
- Difficult arousal
- Stiff neck (Have child touch chin to chest)
III. Indications: Clinical evaluation within 16 hours
IV. Indications: Routine clinical evaluation in 1-2 weeks
- Recurrent Vomiting (assess for psychogenic cause)
