II. Epidemiology
- Affects Caucasians living in tropical regions
- More common in middle-aged women
III. Pathophysiology: Postulated Mechanisms
- Cervical Disc Disease with nerve compression
- Prolonged ultraviolet light exposure (e.g. tropics)
IV. Symptoms
- Onset often in mid-summer and resolution in December
- Pruritus of one or both arms
- Other Paresthesias (tingling or burning)
V. Signs
- No associated dermatitis

- Capsaicin cream
- Cutaneous Field Stimulation
