- More common in pipe smokers and cigar smokers
III. Pathophysiology
- Inflamed, highlighted ducts of Salivary Glands
- Palatal submucosa rich in minor Salivary Glands
IV. Signs
- Diffuse white mucosal thickening on Hard Palate
- Pinpoint reddish Papules on this white background
V. Evaluation
- Benign lesions, but predicts other Oral Tumors
- Only needs biopsy if on Soft Palate
