- Class 2
- Symptoms attributable to Atrial Fibrillation with minor effect on patient general quality of life
- Mild symptom awareness in patients with persistent Atrial Fibrillation OR
- Rare episodes (less than a few per year) in patients with intermittent Atrial Fibrillation
- Class 3
- Symptoms attributable to Atrial Fibrillation with moderate effect on patient general quality of life
- Moderate symptom awareness on most days in patients with persistent Atrial Fibrillation OR
- Common episodes (at least every few months) or severe symptoms in intermittent Atrial Fibrillation
