    1. Lateral Ankle Sprain
  2. Mechanism
    1. Forced foot eversion
  3. Symptoms
    1. Pain at distal fibula
    2. Unable to ambulate
  4. Signs
    1. Fibula Fractured 4.3 cm above malleolus tip
    2. Talus displaced laterally and posterior
    3. No active range of motion of ankle
    4. Increased distance between medial and lateral malleolus
    5. Shortened foot dorsum
  5. Special Circumstances: Injury by landing on foot
    1. Talus pushed upwards tearing lateral ligaments
    2. Results in Dupuytren's Fracture
