III. Criteria
- Morphology- Score 0: No abnormality
- Score 1: Compression
- Score 2: Burst
- Score 3: Translation or Rotation
- Score 4: Distraction
 
- Discoligamentous Complex- Score 0: Intact
- Score 1: Indeterminate
- Score 2: Disrupted
 
- Neurologic Status- Score 0: Intact
- Score 1: Nerve Root Injury
- Score 2: Complete Cord Injury
- Score 3: Incomplete Cord Injury
 
IV. Interpretation
- Add total from each of the three categories
- Total score >4 is an indication for surgical management- Fracture realignment and stabilization
- Decompression
