- Schizophrenia
- Bipolar Disorder (Type 1)
- Acute Mania or mixed disorder
III. Mechanism
- Atypical Antipsychotic
- Dopamine Partial Agonist at D2 and D3 receptors
IV. Dosing: Schizophrenia, Bipolar 1 Disorder, Mania
- Start 1.5 mg orally daily
- May increase to 3 mg orally daily after the first day (after 2 weeks in Bipolar Depression)
- Maximum: 6 mg/day
