- Newborn to 2 months: 60 breaths per minute
- Infant 2 months to 1 year: 50 breaths per minute
- Preschool Child 1 to 5 years: 40 breaths per minute
- School age Child: 20-30 breaths per minute
- Adults: 20 breaths per minute
- Causes: Tachypnea
