- Signs and Symptoms
- General
- Fever
- Adenopathy
- Skin rash
- Arthralgias
- Malaise
- Diaphoresis
- Neurologic symptoms
- Headache
- Seizures
- Cerebrovascular Accident
- Course
- Occurs 2 to 6 hours after treatment started
- Symptoms last for 24 hours
- Management
- Acetaminophen 2 hours before and after antibiotic dose
- Corticosteroids and NSAIDs do not prevent complications
