    1. BMI: 28 or higher
      1. Score 1 point
    2. AST to ALT ration (AAR): 0.8 or higher
      1. Score 2 points
    3. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
      1. Score 1 point
  4. Interpretation
    1. BARD Score less than 2 has a strong Negative Predictive Value for advanced hepatic fibrosis associated with Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
  5. Efficacy (for Total score 2 or higher)
    1. Test Sensitivity: 89%
    2. Test Specificity: 44%
    3. Negative Predictive Value: 90-97%
