Definition (MSHCZE) | dentice – chrup, počet a uspořádání zubů jako celku v dutině ústní, též jeho prořezávání. První d. (mléčný chrup) se prořezává mezi půl rokem a dvěma roky života dítěte. Obsahuje 20 zubů – 8 řezáků, 4 špičáky a 8 stoliček. Zhruba do puberty je první d. nahrazena druhou, stálou (osmé zuby „moudrosti“ se mohou prořezávat i značně později).
