Indication
1. Suspected Orthostatic Proteinuria
Technique
1. See 24 hour Urine Collection
2. Start collection after first morning void (e.g. 7 am)
3. Bottle 1
  1. Collect daytime urine sample over first 16 hours
  2. Void immediately before bedtime
4. Bottle 2
  1. Collect 8 hour overnight (supine) specimen
  2. Include first morning void in collection
Interpretation
1. Glomerular disease: Bottle 2 with >50 mg Protein
2. Orthostatic Proteinuria: Bottle 2 with <50 mg Protein
