- Nocturnal exacerbations are less than twice/month
- Asymptomatic
- Normal Pulmonary Function Test between exacerbations
- FEV1 or PEF >80% predicted
- PEF Variability <20%
- Occasional exacerbations (Less than twice/week)

- No daily medications necessary
- Inhaled short acting Beta agonist as needed
- If beta agonist use more than twice per week:
- Step-up to Mild Persistent Asthma Management
- Consider long-term control (Inhaled Corticosteroids)
